The delegation of the State Service for Property Issues of Azerbaijan visited the National Agency of Public Registry of the Ministry of Justice on a study visit.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the ongoing projects and reforms within the agency. Representatives of the Property Registration Department provided the attendees with comprehensive information about the progress of systematic land registration and the innovative product—the electronic minutes application introduced during the reform process.

The agency's representatives also presented an innovative product—the smart contract—to the Azerbaijani side. Additionally, the discussion covered the national spatial data infrastructure and geospatial development within the agency.

The delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan was hosted by the Chairman of the National Agency of Public Registry, Davit Devidze, along with the agency's deputy chairpersons and representatives of relevant departments.

At the end of the meeting, the guests thanked the hosts for the detailed discussion of the topics of interest. A future visit was also planned.

On June 2, 2023, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Public Registry and the Azerbaijani counterpart, which entails sharing experiences between the two agencies in the fields of real estate rights registration and cadastre.
